Join our certified chocolate expert for an educational tasting and presentation about cacao farmers, fermenters, importers, and chocolate makers who are creating ethical and sustainable chocolate. We will discuss direct trade, traceability, and how these amazing makers are empowering both women and their cacao growing communities.
This class typically covers:
- A short introduction on the history of chocolate
- An explanation of the process from cocoa bean to bar
- Tasting and describing at least 6 varieties of chocolate
