How do classes with kits work?

When you book a class with a kit, we send participants all of the ingredients or supplies that they need.

**Address collection:** Once payment is received, our team will send you an address collection form and invite text to relay to your team. 📄

**Shipment tracking:** We’ll also provide a master tracking sheet which you can use to track submissions as well as tracking information once kits have shipped. ✅

What is a hybrid event? How does it work?

**[Confetti hybrid events](https://www.withconfetti.com/help-center/en/collections/6372688-hybrid-events)** combine **in-person** and **virtual** components to create an exciting, interactive experience that can be enjoyed by teams working in-office and at home. 🤝 Whether you're dialing in from your couch or from a conference room filled with coworkers, our friendly and engaging host will ensure that all your team members have a fun and fabulous time!

For in-office participants, we recommend using a shared projector screen or TV setup. Individuals can also choose to dial-in from their own computers. Either way, please make sure that the host is able to see all of the participants and vice versa.

Although all Confetti hybrid experiences come with remote, real-time **Zoom tech support**, it's important to note that A/V equipment and A/V setup is not included.

Can I request a specific host?

We are unable to guarantee certain hosts for Summer Cookie Decorating, as their booking is dependent on availability. Please drop a note in the 'special requests' section when booking, and we'll do our best to make it happen. Either way, we promise you'll have a wonderful experience with any of our vetted hosts!

What’s the difference between buttercream and royal icing?

Accepted Answer

Our buttercream option is 60 minutes long, while royal icing is closer to 75 minutes.

A mixture of butter and sugar, buttercream tastes better and has a softer mouthfeel. Royal icing is less about taste and texture, and more about appearance and function. Super sweet and fast to harden, royal icing is the glue that holds decorations together.

Royal icing is more challenging to work with, but it’s how you produce neat, clean designs. Buttercream is a little messy, but it’s delicious and easier to work with. 😋

What is the shelf life of the cookies?

Our cookies are made to order and stay fresh for about 3 weeks. Both cookies and icing can be stored at room temperature.

Can cookie kits be made to be vegan/dairy-free? Gluten-free?

Is this experience kid-friendly?

Cookie decorating is a fun activity for all ages. Our kits include more than enough cookies so that your kids can join in on the fun, too!

Can this experience be shortened?

No, sorry! 😅 Summer Cookie Decorating Making is a set length and is not customizable. Please allow about 60-75 minutes for this experience.
