What is a hybrid event? How does it work?

**[Confetti hybrid events](https://www.withconfetti.com/help-center/en/collections/6372688-hybrid-events)** combine **in-person** and **virtual** components to create an exciting, interactive experience that can be enjoyed by teams working in-office and at home. 🤝 Whether you're dialing in from your couch or from a conference room filled with coworkers, our friendly and engaging host will ensure that all your team members have a fun and fabulous time!

For in-office participants, we recommend using a shared projector screen or TV setup. Individuals can also choose to dial-in from their own computers. Either way, please make sure that the host is able to see all of the participants and vice versa.

Although all Confetti hybrid experiences come with remote, real-time **Zoom tech support**, it's important to note that A/V equipment and A/V setup is not included.

Can I request a specific host?

We are unable to guarantee certain hosts for Sip 'n Learn: Super Bowl LVIII as their booking is dependent on availability. Please drop a note in the 'special requests' section when booking, and we'll do our best to make it happen. Either way, we promise you'll have a wonderful experience with any of our vetted hosts!

How do BYO experiences work?

Our [BYO experiences](https://www.withconfetti.com/help-center/en/collections/6372684-byo-experiences) are budget-friendly and super easy to coordinate for any team. Because these experiences do not require shipping, they are the perfect option for international teams.

After booking, event support will share a **shopping list** of everything you need. 🛒 The items on our shopping lists are designed to be flexible, accessible, and affordable. If you’d like, you can even send an [online gift card](https://www.withconfetti.com/product/online-gift-card) to give your team a budget to purchase their own items. Please note costs may differ based on region and availability.

As with any Confetti event, you’ll hop on a Zoom call with a host that will lead the experience with your team!

Can this experience be shortened?

No, sorry! 😅 Sip 'n Learn: Super Bowl LVIII is a set length and is not customizable. Please allow about 60 minutes for this experience.

Question 5

Will we need actual bartending tools?

Accepted Answer

You can bring a shaker and jigger if you have those on hand, but these tools can be easily substituted with regular household items like a tablespoon and mason jar. Otherwise, all supplies are meant to be accessible and easy to find. We'll provide you with a suggested list after booking!

Can this event be recorded? Can a photo be taken?

📸 **Photos / screenshots:** Our hosts always do their best to catch a screenshot at the end of your event. If you would like a photo, feel free to remind your host at the start of your event.

📹 **Video recordings:** This event can be recorded. To ensure a recording is taken, **please request one from your host at the start of your event** - they’re happy to accommodate when asked!
