Blackness, race, and identity
Look beyond the canvas as we delve into four distinct stories of Black art as social commentary, storyteller, and movement maker.
In a lecture-style setting, participants will gain insight into how the mind of an artist works by learning about the fundamental elements of art. Using that lens, our art & culture guide will uncover the hidden narratives behind stunning works from the past 100 years to present day, addressing today's reality.
Engage with artists you may already know and find new inspiration in hidden gems from the vast and vibrant world of Black art and commemoration!
This class includes Q&A opportunities, giving participants the chance to ask more about Black history & culture.

Thanks for hosting our Black History Month virtual event here at Esusu! It was truly educational and wonderful.
We had a great tour as part of our Black History Month calendar. It was perfect because we have a lot of remote employees and a lot of employees who are not working out of our headquarters.
Our host was amazing, very knowledgable & personable, she made our experience that much better! I can't wait to receive the recording to share with all the Warriors that attended.
Exploring Black Art was one of the most informational and rewarding virtual experiences I've done in a long time. We learned a lot of new information about emerging Black artists and their impactful work.
Our host was exceptional. He was clearly very passionate and knowledgeable in the Black experience. This is an excellent resource to gather colleagues/friends from various locations for a common event. We'll be booking again for sure!
Our host was so knowledgable and passionate. He took us through literally hundreds of years via the tour. It's one of the best sessions we have had to date with Confetti.
The instructor was an actual art history professor and led the class in thoughtful and engaging conversation about the various pieces of art. There was so much good dialogue and learning from this session. I highly recommend it!
