How do classes with kits work?

When you book a class with a kit, we send participants all of the ingredients or supplies that they need.

**Address collection:** Once payment is received, our team will send you an address collection form and invite text to relay to your team. 📄

**Shipment tracking:** We’ll also provide a master tracking sheet which you can use to track submissions as well as tracking information once kits have shipped. ✅

What is a hybrid event? How does it work?

**[Confetti hybrid events](https://www.withconfetti.com/help-center/en/collections/6372688-hybrid-events)** combine **in-person** and **virtual** components to create an exciting, interactive experience that can be enjoyed by teams working in-office and at home. 🤝 Whether you're dialing in from your couch or from a conference room filled with coworkers, our friendly and engaging host will ensure that all your team members have a fun and fabulous time!

For in-office participants, we recommend using a shared projector screen or TV setup. Individuals can also choose to dial-in from their own computers. Either way, please make sure that the host is able to see all of the participants and vice versa.

Although all Confetti hybrid experiences come with remote, real-time **Zoom tech support**, it's important to note that A/V equipment and A/V setup is not included.

Can I request a specific host?

We are unable to guarantee certain hosts for the Cupcake Decorating Class, as their booking is dependent on availability. Please drop a note in the 'special requests' section when booking, and we'll do our best to make it happen. Either way, we promise you'll have a wonderful experience with any of our vetted hosts!

What is included in the kit?

You can find information about kit contents in the 'includes' section towards the top of the page. Please note that kit contents may differ from the pictures displayed here as we may work with several vendors to create your handcrafted kits. If you need more info, please reach out to event support or chat with us directly on the website for more details.

Question 5

What is the shelf life of the cupcakes?

Accepted Answer

Cupcakes come packaged and are shelf stable for 10 days if they stay wrapped. Or even longer (at least 4-6 weeks!) if they go in the freezer. All other items in the kits will stay fresh for 6 months.

Can cupcake kits be made to be vegan/dairy-free?

Not at the moment, but we are working on making this option available.

Question 7

Is your facility nut-free?

Accepted Answer

All kits come from a facility containing known food allergens, including, but not limited to: wheat, eggs, milk, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, and various fruits.

Question 8

What should I do with my cupcakes when they arrive?

Accepted Answer

Cupcakes can be stored at room temperature, however, we recommend freezing your cupcakes as it makes them easier to decorate. If you freeze your cupcakes, make sure to let them defrost 30-60 minutes before the class.

Question 9

Can this experience be shortened?

Accepted Answer

The Cupcake Decorating Class can be shortened to 30 or 45 minutes, just make sure to let us know in the special requests section.

For the most engaging and interactive experience, we recommend booking for the full 60-75 minutes. Please note that we cannot accommodate any price adjustments for a shorter duration. In addition, not all cupcakes may be completed.

Question 10

When is the deadline to collect addresses?

Accepted Answer

The deadline to collect addresses will be EOD **13 business days** from your event date. If you're looking to have an event sooner than 13 business days, your deadline will be EOD **10 business days** and will require rush processing. The cost of rush processing can be found under the shipping upgrades section of the experience page.

**Oct - Dec:** During the busier holiday season, we cannot accommodate orders on a shorter timeframe.
