How do BYO experiences work?

Our [BYO experiences](https://www.withconfetti.com/help-center/en/collections/6372684-byo-experiences) are **budget-friendly** and **super easy to coordinate** for any team. Because these experiences do not require shipping, they are the perfect option for international teams.

After booking, event support will share a **shopping list** of everything you need. 🛒 The items on our shopping lists are designed to be flexible, accessible, and affordable. If you’d like, you can even send an [online gift card](https://www.withconfetti.com/product/online-gift-card) to give your team a budget to purchase their own items. Please note costs may differ based on region and availability.

As with any Confetti event, you’ll hop on a Zoom call with a host that will lead the experience with your team!

What is a hybrid event? How does it work?

**[Confetti hybrid events](https://www.withconfetti.com/help-center/en/collections/6372688-hybrid-events)** combine **in-person** and **virtual** components to create an exciting, interactive experience that can be enjoyed by teams working in-office and at home. 🤝 Whether you're dialing in from your couch or from a conference room filled with coworkers, our friendly and engaging host will ensure that all your team members have a fun and fabulous time!

For in-office participants, we recommend using a shared projector screen or TV setup. Individuals can also choose to dial-in from their own computers. Either way, please make sure that the host is able to see all of the participants and vice versa.

Although all Confetti hybrid experiences come with remote, real-time **Zoom tech support**, it's important to note that A/V equipment and A/V setup is not included.

Can I request a specific host?

We are unable to guarantee certain hosts for the BYO Origami Class, as their booking is dependent on availability. Please drop a note in the 'special requests' section when booking, and we'll do our best to make it happen. Either way, we promise you'll have a wonderful experience with any of our vetted hosts!

How does the gift card add-on work?

Our [online gift cards](https://www.withconfetti.com/product/online-gift-card) are a great way to give your team a budget to purchase the items needed to participate in the BYO Valentine's Day Origami Class.

Please note that gift cards may not cover the entire cost of items as costs may vary based on participant location, brand preference, etc. If you want to give your team a little more flexibility, we recommend purchasing the higher gift card amount.

Question 5

Can this experience be shortened?

Accepted Answer

The BYO Valentine's Day Origami Class can be shortened to 30 minutes, just make sure to select your preferred duration option.

For the most engaging and interactive experience, we recommend booking for the full 60 minutes. Please note that we cannot accommodate any price adjustments for a shorter duration. In addition, our instructor may have to omit some content from our standard class.
