Beginning with an overview of the historical and geographic context, participants will learn how to do a traditional Southeast Asian dance. In a step-by-step demonstration, a professional performer will perform each dance step for dancers to follow along. Then, put all of the steps together for a final dance routine with music!
Followed by a Q&A where participants can ask the instructor about the dance, its history, and life performing historic dance.
